Zoe Saldana (born June 19, 1978; also known as Zo� Saldana, Zoe Salda�a, and Zo� Salda�a) is a American (United States) actress. She had her breakthrough role in the 2002 film Drumline (Drumline (film)), and later gained prominence for her roles as Anamaria (List of characters in Pirates of the Caribbean#Anamaria) in Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl, Uhura in the 2009 film Star Trek (Star Trek (film)), and Neytiri in James Camerons Avatar (Avatar (2009 film)). In 2010 she appeared in the film The Losers (The Losers (film)).
