Sherri Evonne Shepherd (born April 22, 1967) is an American (United States) comedienne, actress, and television personality. She is one of five co-hosts on the ABC (American Broadcasting Company) daytime talkshow, The View (The View (U.S. TV series)). As an actress, she is perhaps best known for her role on the sitcom Less Than Perfect and supporting film roles, most notably as Cornrows in the 2009 Oscar winning film Precious (Precious: Based on the Novel "Push" by Sapphire).
