Shekhar Kapur (Hindi: ???? ????), is an Indian film director and producer (Film producer). He is a critically acclaimed director, rose to popularity with the movie, Bandit Queen. He was nominated for Academy awards for Elizabeth (Elizabeth (film)) and its sequel Elizabeth: The Golden Age.
