Samir Nasri (Arabic (Arabic language): ???? ????) (born 26 June 1987) is a French (France) international (France national football team) footballer (Association football) who plays for Arsenal (Arsenal F.C.).

A naturally right-footed player, he generally plays as a wing forward for Arsenal but has also been used in central and defensive midfield roles when needed. Since an early age Nasri has been tipped for great stardom in football, he has been hailed by many as the "new Zidane (Zinedine Zidane)" after impressing at his boyhood club Marseille (Olympique Marseille).Citation neededdate=November 2009

Previously a regular for France at the youth level, Nasri was named in the UEFA Euro 2008 squad but received little playing time.
