

The Salt Lake City Marathon is an annual marathon (Marathon (sport)) foot-race run entirely within Salt Lake City, Utah.
The 26.2 mile course begins at the Olympic Legacy Bridge at the University of Utah. It follows the base of the Wasatch Mountains before turning into the citys neighborhoods, passing through Liberty Park and finishing at the Olympic Legacy Plaza in the Gateway District downtown. A bike tour follows the entire length of the course, and a 5K and half marathon course each follow a portion of the full course, all ending at the Gateway.
