Patrick Chan (born December 31, 1990) is a Canadian (Canada) figure skater (Figure skating). He is the 2009 Four Continents champion (Four Continents Figure Skating Championships), the 2009 & 2010 World silver medalist (World Figure Skating Championships), the 2007 World Junior silver medalist (2007 World Junior Figure Skating Championships) and the 2008-2010 Canadian Champion (Canadian Figure Skating Championships).
At the 2010 Canadian Figure Skating Championships, he was nominated to represent Canada (Canada at the 2010 Winter Olympics) at the 2010 Winter Olympics.. He placed 5th in the mens event (figure skating at the 2010 Winter Olympics - Mens singles).
As of201004, he is ranked 7th in the world by the International Skating Union (ISU).
