The Nokia N8 is an upcoming Symbian^3 mobile phone from the Nseries (Nokia Nseries) with a 3.5-inch, 640x360 capacitive touchscreen. It is Nokias first camera phone to have a 12 megapixel sensor. It will have a camera sensor size (Image sensor format) of 1/1.83? and xenon flash.

It is Nokias first smartphone to run on the Symbian^3 operating system that will have single-tap interaction, addition of multiple home screens, and customization abilities. In addition, the display will have multi-touch capabilities with gesture (Pen computing#Gesture recognition) support.

With regard to connectivity it has, among other features, HDMI out with Dolby Digital Plus sound and Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n. The N8 will be the first ever device to support UMTS bands used by both T-Mobile USA and AT&T Mobility, with its Pentaband (Multi-band) 3.5G radio.
