The Mumbai Monorail (lang-mr????? ???????) is a monorail system currently under construction for the city of Mumbai, India. It is being contracted by the Mumbai Metropolitan Region Development Authority (MMRDA) and will be the first monorail in India. Construction began in January 2009, and the first portion of the first line is scheduled to be operational by December 2010.
