Michael Kirk Douglas (born September 25, 1944) is an American actor and producer (film producer), primarily in movies and television. He has won three Golden Globes (Golden Globe Award) and two Academy Awards, first as producer of 1975s Best Picture (Academy Award for Best Picture), One Flew Over the Cuckoos Nest (One Flew Over the Cuckoos Nest (film)) and as Best Actor (Academy Award for Best Actor) in 1987 for his role in Wall Street (Wall Street (1987 film)). Douglas received the AFI (American Film Institute) Life Achievement Award in 2009.
