Mia Michaels is an American choreographer best known for her judging and contemporary (contemporary dance) choreography on the TV show So You Think You Can Dance (So You Think You Can Dance (US)) (SYTYCD). She has worked with musical artists such as Celine Dion, Madonna (Madonna (entertainer)), Ricky Martin, Gloria Estefan, and Prince (Prince (musician)).In 2005 she choreographed Cirque du Soleils world tour, "Delirium (Delirium (Cirque du Soleil))" as well as Celine Dions Las Vegas (Las Vegas, Nevada) show "A New Day..." for which she was later nominated for Emmy. In 2007 she won an Emmy Award (Primetime Emmy Awards) for Outstanding Choreography for her "Calling You (So You Think You Can Dance (U.S. TV series)#Emmy Awards)" routine on season 2 (So You Think You Can Dance (season 2)) of So You Think You Can Dance. She is now a main judge of So You Think You Can Dance together with Adam Shankman and Nigel Lythgoe for season 7 (So You Think You Can Dance (season 7)).
