Meredith Louise Vieira (born December 30, 1953) is an American journalist, television personality, and game show host. She currently co-hosts NBCs Today (Today (NBC program)) and often contributes to Dateline NBC. She is the current host for Who Wants to Be a Millionaire (Who Wants to Be a Millionaire (U.S. game show)) in syndication (TV Syndication), replacing Regis Philbin in 2002. She previously co-hosted ABC (American Broadcasting Company)s daytime talk show The View (The View (U.S. TV series)) (from 1997 to 2006). She also hosted Intimate Portrait (Intimate Portrait (TV series)), a series on Lifetime Television.
