Mary Marg Helgenberger (born November 16, 1958 in Fremont, Nebraska) is an American film and television actress, perhaps best known for her roles as Catherine Willows in the CBS drama CSI: Crime Scene Investigation, and as K.C. Koloski in the ABC (American Broadcasting Company) drama China Beach, which earned her the 1990 Emmy Award for Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Drama Series (Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Supporting Actress - Drama Series). Following William Petersens departure from CSI, Helgenberger became the highest paid actor in any of the CSI shows (Vegas, Miami, NY) (CSI (franchise)), earning $380,000 per episode ($5,000 more per episode than David Caruso, and $30,000 more per episode than Laurence Fishburne).Citation neededMay 2010date=May 2010
