Emmanuel Dapidran "Manny" Pacquiao (pron-en?p�kja?; born December 17, 1978) is a Filipino (Philippines) professional boxer (boxing). Currently, he is the WBO (World Boxing Organization) World welterweight champion (List of WBO world champions#Welterweight), The Ring (The Ring (magazine)) light welterweight (List of The Ring world champions#Junior Welterweight) champion, and is rated by The Ring as the number 1 pound-for-pound best boxer (Ring Magazine pound for pound) of the world.

Pacquiao is also the former IBO (International Boxing Organization) World light welterweight champion (List of IBO world champions#Junior welterweight), WBC (World Boxing Council) World lightweight champion (List of WBC world champions#Lightweight), WBC World super featherweight champion (List of WBC world champions#Super featherweight), IBF (International Boxing Federation) World super bantamweight champion (List of IBF world champions#Junior featherweight), and WBC World flyweight champion (List of WBC world champions#Flyweight). Furthermore, he is the former The Ring featherweight (List of The Ring world champions#Featherweight) and super featherweight (List of The Ring world champions#Junior Lightweight) champion.

Pacquiao is the first boxer in history to win seven world titles (Septuple Champion) in seven different weight divisions (List of boxing weight classes). In addition, he is the only boxer to win the lineal championship in four different weight classes. For his achievements, Pacquiao was named the 2000-2009 "Fighter of the Decade" by the Boxing Writers Association of America. Aside from being a boxer, Pacquiao has participated in politics, acting, and music recording (recording artist).

Last May 10, 2010, Pacquiao was elected as Member of House of Representatives (House of Representatives of the Philippines) in the 15th Congress of the Philippines representing the province of Sarangani (Sarangani). He established the record of being the first active boxer to become a congressman in the Philippines.
