Leonard Simon Nimoy (pron-en?ni?m??, respellNEEmoy; born March 26, 1931) is an American actor, film director, poet, musician, and photographer. Nimoys fame rests on his playing the role of Spock in the original Star Trek series (Star Trek: The Original Series) 1966-1969, as well as reprising the role in various movie and television sequels. He has written two autobiographies, I Am Not Spock (1975) and I Am Spock (1995).
