Laurence John Fishburne III (born July 30, 1961) is an American (United States) actor of screen (film) and stage (theater), as well as a playwright, director (film director), and producer (Film producer). He is perhaps best known for his roles as Morpheus (Morpheus (The Matrix)) in the Matrix (The Matrix (series)) science fiction film trilogy, Cuba Gooding, Jr.s characters father Furious Styles in Boyz N The Hood, "Cowboy Curtis" in the US television series Pee-Wees Playhouse, and for his portrayal of singer-musician Ike Turner in the Tina Turner biopic Whats Love Got to Do With It (Whats Love Got to Do with It (film)). Currently, he stars as Dr. Raymond Langston (Raymond Langston) on the CBS crime drama CSI: Crime Scene Investigation.
