Julie M. Benz (born May 1, 1972) is an American (United States) actress and former figure skater. She is best known for her role as Rita Morgan (List of Dexter characters#Rita Morgan (formerly Bennett)) on Dexter (Dexter (TV show)), for which she won the 2006 Satellite Award (Satellite Awards) for Actress in a Supporting Role in a Series, Mini-Series or Motion Picture Made for Television. She is also well known for her role of Darla (Darla (Buffy the Vampire Slayer)) on Buffy the Vampire Slayer (Buffy the Vampire Slayer (TV series)) and Angel (Angel (TV series)).
