John G. "Johnny" Weir (born July 2, 1984) is an American figure skater. He is a three-time U.S. National Champion (United States Figure Skating Championships) (2004-2006), the 2008 Worlds bronze medalist (2008 World Figure Skating Championships), a two-time Grand Prix Final bronze medalist, and the 2001 World Junior Champion (2001 World Junior Figure Skating Championships).
At the 2010 United States Figure Skating Championships he was nominated as one of three skaters to represent the United States (United States at the 2010 Winter Olympics) at the upcoming Olympics (2010 Winter Olympics). At the 2010 Winter Olympics, Weir finished sixth overall.
As of201004, he is ranked 12th in the world by the International Skating Union (ISU).
