John Boccieri (born October 5, 1969) is a Democratic (Democratic Party (United States)) member of the United States House of Representatives, representing ushrOhio16. The district, which was once represented by William McKinley, is based in Canton (Canton, Ohio) and includes many of the far southern suburbs of Cleveland. Previously he was a member of the Ohio House of Representatives from 2001 through 2006, and the Ohio Senate from 2007 until his election to Congress.
Boccieri flies the C-130 Hercules as a member of the Air Force Reserve (Air Force Reserve Command). He has been forward deployed several times and served in Operation Enduring Freedom and Operation Iraqi Freedom, causing him to take leaves of absence from the Ohio Legislature.
