Jason Michael Statham (pron-en?ste? ??m; born 12 September 1972) is an English (English people) actor and martial artist, known for his roles in the Guy Ritchie crime films Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels; Revolver (Revolver (film)); and Snatch (Snatch (film)). Statham has appeared in supporting roles in several American films (Cinema of the United States), such as The Italian Job (The Italian Job (2003 film)), as well as playing the lead role in The Transporter, Crank (Crank (film)), The Bank Job, War (War (film)) (opposite martial arts star Jet Li), and Death Race (Death Race (film)). He normally performs his own fight scenes and stunts.
