Jared Scot Allen (born April 3, 1982 in city-stateDallasTexas) is an American football defensive end for the Minnesota Vikings of the National Football League. He was originally drafted by the Kansas City Chiefs in the fourth round of the 2004 NFL Draft. He played college football at Idaho State (Idaho State University#Athletics). Allen is a three-time Pro Bowl selection and All-Pro with the Chiefs in 2007 (2007 Kansas City Chiefs season) and the Vikings in 2008 & 2009 (2008 Minnesota Vikings season).
