Glenn Carlyle Nye III (born September 9, 1974) is a Democratic (Democratic Party (United States)) member of the U.S. House of Representatives, representing ushrVirginia2 since 2009. The district includes all of Virginia Beach and the Eastern Shore (Eastern Shore of Virginia), as well as parts of Norfolk (Norfolk, Virginia) and Hampton (Hampton, Virginia). He defeated two-term Republican (Republican Party (United States)) incumbent Thelma Drake in the 2008 congressional election (United States House of Representatives elections, 2008).
