Gaspar Llamazares Trigo M.D (Doctor of Medicine) (born 28 November 1957) is a Spanish politician. He was the leader of the leftist coalition Izquierda Unida (United Left (Spain)) (IU, United Left) from 2001 to 2008, in the post of General Coordinator. He is a member of Communist Party of Spain (Communist Party of Spain (main)) (PCE).
