Yuriorkis Gamboa defeated Orlando Salidofor the IBF and WBA World Featherweight unification at the Palms Hotel and Casino in the Pearl Concert Theater, Las Vegas, Nevada on September 11, 2010. Gamboa had two points taken away for punching Salido behind the head after he was counted down by referee Joe Cortez. Gamboa won by unanimous decision Las Vegas.
