Fullerton College is the oldest community college in continuous operation in California, having been established in 1913, when the City of Fullerton (Fullerton, California) was primarily an agricultural community, which specialized in the production of citrus produce. Originally enrolling 26 students in its first year, the current enrollment is over 20,000.
