Endhiran (lang-ta????????) is a forthcoming Indian Tamil (Tamil language) science-fiction film being directed by S. Shankar. The film will star Rajinikanth and Aishwarya Rai in the lead roles. As of 2009, the films production and distribution rights were purchased by Sun Pictures, with Kalanidhi Maran and Hansraj Saxena, for their first time, as producers. At a cost of Rs. 165 crores, the film is expected to be made on the highest ever film budget in Indian cinema (Cinema of India), surpassing that of the 2009 Bollywood film Blue (Blue (2009 film)).
