Emily Olivia Leah Blunt (born 23 February 1983) is an English actress. Blunts first major film role came in the British drama My Summer of Love (2004) which garnered critical acclaim. She then starred in the box office success, The Devil Wears Prada (The Devil Wears Prada (film)) (2006) for which she was nominated for a Golden Globe and a BAFTA. She has since starred in a number of American and British productions some of which are Charlie Wilsons War (2007), The Young Victoria (2009) and The Wolfman (The Wolfman (2010 film)) (2010).

Blunt won the Golden Globe Award for Best Supporting Actress (Golden Globe Award for Best Supporting Actress - Series, Miniseries or Television Film) in a Series, Miniseries or Television Film for the BBC TV film Gideons Daughter in 2007.
