Elisha Ann Cuthbert (born November 30, 1982) is a Canadian (Canada) film and television actress. Cuthbert is known as the former co-host (television presenter) of the Canadian (Canada) childrens television series Popular Mechanics for Kids. She had her first film role in the 2003 feature film Old School (Old School (film)) and starred the following year in The Girl Next Door (The Girl Next Door (2004 film)). She has also had starring roles in the 2005 House of Wax (House of Wax (2005 film)) film and the 2007 horror film Captivity (Captivity (film)). Her most prominent role is as Kim Bauer in the American (United States) action-thriller (Thriller (genre)) television series 24 (24 (TV series)).
