The biopic stars singer Marc Anthony and his wife, actress-singer Jennifer Lopez (she also served as an executive producer for the film). The film is based on the life story of salsa singer H�ctor Lavoe (played by Marc Anthony). The film debuted at the Toronto International Film Festival on September 12, 2006.
