Edwin Valero (December 3, 1981 – April 19, 2010) was a Venezuelan (Venezuelan people) professional boxer (Boxing). He was born in Bolero Alto, and raised in El Vig�a (both locations in M�rida (M�rida (state)), Venezuela).

Valero was an undefeated southpaw (Southpaw stance) boxer (boxing) who fought in the super featherweight (130 lb) division until he moved up to lightweight. His professional boxing record was 27-0 (27 KOs (knockout), 19 of which occurred in the first round). Valero was a former WBA (World Boxing Association) Super Featherweight champion and former WBC (World Boxing Council) Lightweight champion who was known by boxing fansWhodate=April 2010 for his style and punching power. He is the only fighter in the 30 years of the WBC to win every fight in his career by knockout.
