Corey Wayne Brewer (born March 5, 1986, in Portland, Tennessee) is an American (United States) professional basketball player for the NBA (National Basketball Association)s Minnesota Timberwolves. He formerly played small forward for the Florida (University of Florida) Gators (Florida Gators), where he starred on the mens basketball team which won both the 2006 (2006 NCAA Mens Division I Basketball Tournament) and 2007 NCAA Mens Division I Basketball Tournaments, as well as the 2005, 2006, and 2007 SEC (Southeastern Conference) Tournament. He was named Most Outstanding Player of the 2007 NCAA tournament. Brewer is 69" and weighs 185 lbs. On December 1, 2008, it was announced that Brewer had sustained an ACL (Anterior cruciate ligament) tear and would miss the rest of the 2008-09 NBA season.
