Christoph Waltz (IPA-de?valts; born October 4, 1956) is an Austrian (Austrians) actor. He is best known for his portrayal of SS Standartenf�hrer Hans Landa in the 2009 film Inglourious Basterds, for which he won Best Supporting Actor (Academy Award for Best Supporting Actor) at the 82nd Academy Awards in 2010. He is the second Austrian actor (List of Austrian film actors) to receive an Oscar.
