Barry Louis Larkin (born April 28, 1964 in Cincinnati, Ohio) is a retired Major League Baseball player. Larkin played shortstop for the Cincinnati Reds from mlby1986 to mlby2004 and was one of the pivotal players on the mlby1990 Reds World Series (1990 World Series) championship team. He played college baseball at the University of Michigan and had his number retired by the school on May 1st, 2010.
