Atticus Shaffer (born June 19, 1998) is an American actor, known for portraying Matty Newton in the 2009 supernatural horror (Horror film)-thriller (Thriller (genre)) film The Unborn (The Unborn (2009 film)), and Brick Heck in the ABC (American Broadcasting Company) comedy TV series, The Middle (The Middle (TV series)).

Shaffer was born to Ron and Debbie Shaffer in Santa Clarita, California. He is home-schooled (home-schooling) and does well in his studies. His interests include Star Wars, Legos, going to Yu-Gi-Oh! card tournaments with his father, and he is a Boy Scout (Boy Scouts of America).
