Aaptharakshaka is 2010 Kannada (Kannada language) film written and directed by P. Vasu. Starring Vishnuvardhan (Vishnuvardhan (actor)) in his 200th and posthumous film (posthumous work) along with Sandhya (Sandhya (actress)), Vimala Raman, Avinash, Srinivasa Murthy, Bhavana, Lakshmi Gopalaswamy and Komal (Komal (actor)) among others, the film is a sequel to the 2004 blockbuster film (blockbuster (entertainment)) Apthamitra that was directed by Vasu and starred Vishnuvardhan as well. The film was released on February 19, 2010 to highly positive reviews.>The remake rights of the movie is sold to Bellamkonda Suresh,who is remaking it in Telugu with Venkatesh in the lead. It was said that aptharakshaka would be remade as chandramukhi 2 with rajnikanth.But later it was decided that producer Bellamkonda Suresh will remake it in telugu with one of the top tollywood heroes "Victory Venkatesh".
