Alina Maratovna Kabayeva (lang-ru?????? ?????????? ????????; lang-tt�lin� Marat q?z? Qabayeva; born May 12, 1983) is a Russian sportsmaster (sportswoman) and politician. She is the current State Duma deputee (d�put�) from the Party of United Russia since 2007, and before was known to lead a sports-related career in rhythmic gymnastics.
Kabayeva possesses high inborn flexibility (Flexibility (anatomy)). She stands at 1.63m (54) and weighs 48 kg (106 lbs). She is Russias most successful rhythmic gymnast to date, and is also one of the most decorated gymnasts in the history of rhythmic gymnastics with 18 World Championship medals, 2 Olympic medals and 25 European Championship medals.
